INDONESIA AND MALAYSIA

Indonesia's 65th Independence Day and Malaysia's 53rd Independence Day!!!

I find this war between Malaysia and Indonesia not only childish but stupid. Let's face it, both sides are at fault. Personally, I think that Malaysians should learn to treat other nationals as equals while the Indonesian government should do more to protect its citizens.

I wonder when Indonesia can stop acting with their heart and start using their god-given brains. If inferiority is also one of the issues, then that is Indonesia's own problem, Malaysians are no smarter than Indonesians, just more developed hence civilized. Everything can be settled in a more diplomatic and civilized manner regardless what problem arises.

• The lawmakers and legislators of Indonesia are not doing any better but continuously making statements that further incite all this hatred against Malaysia. Freedom of expression/speech is commendable but everything must have a border, which is no wonder why third world countries like us still can't have open debates or peaceful demonstrations minus the aggressiveness and emotions like the westerners.

• The mass media in Indonesia is grossly irresponsible and rubbish!!just for cheap publication or anything that simply sells!! Wouldn't it be better to sensibly educate the nation rather than bask in the enjoyment of seeing the people behave in such a way that reflects your country? Gives a poor impression of the Indonesian public.

I need a good leader that can work for the good of the people and not for the sake of their political parties..I need a professional and clean government, whose public servants really work for the sake of the people, not for the interests of individuals..I want all Indonesian children to receive a good education as they are needed for the survival of this country..The people of Indonesia ready to understand what a true democracy is..I hope the future looks much better..I really wish that Indonesia can start grooming its people to be better in every aspect of life..be a better country for everyone..we are going to be fine as a nation..

And Indonesia’s Government..Please, save your people first not your ego!And Malaysia, I hope my country and your country will be able to go hand in hand someday..:)
